What is Fooditude?
We are a contract catering company based in London, specialising in delivered-in catering. Founded in 2005, we’ve perfected our delivery model where companies can offer a full fledged food program without a kitchen on site. We’ve been helping prominent tech and media firms in London fuel their workplace culture and make lunchtimes fun!
Why is Fooditude in Dublin?
Following a majority stake acquisition by Sodexo in December 2020, we have brought Fooditude to Dublin. The move supports Sodexo’s vision of growing new digital enabled and consumer focussed food businesses that keep clients happy, healthy and well fed.
With rising costs of rent and the uncertainty brought about by lockdowns, losing space to a kitchen in the office is no longer viable in a city like Dublin. Fooditude presents an efficient and flexible alternative which will help save real estate costs and also allow businesses to cater for fluctuating headcounts when employees start coming back to the office.

We launched at the Dublin Tech Summit on the 17th June and our founder, Dean Kennett said “Our London clients have been asking us to come to Dublin for a while and now we’re here! We have over 15 years of experience in bringing food and fun to the workplace. Our motto is ‘feed yourself happy’ because there’s nothing like a tasty meal to put a smile on everyone’s face – and we’re looking forward to putting a few smiles on faces in Dublin!”
Our kitchen and food
Since June, we have been busy setting up a production kitchen in Clarehall. Dean, and Fooditude’s top chefs – Matt Byne, the Director of Food, Alex Bailey – company executive chef and Susi Hester Lloyd – development chef were all in Dublin in July to identify and set up sustainable supply chains, research food trends with the local team and even meet a few prospective clients. We’re now raring to go!
Our food will have the same ethos as in London – simple food with bold flavours, always cooked from scratch. We are working with local suppliers to source ingredients of good provenance from the island of Ireland. Sustainability will rank high in our operations and we aim to build a service that is low on food waste and carbon emissions.
We do the serving. You do the eating. Simple.
When we say we deliver, we mean business. Our food arrives in state of the art BGL Rieber hot boxes in temperature controlled vans. Our team will arrive with all the kit, lay it out, host lunch, clean down and then we’re on our way, as though we were never there. No more boxes for you to sort! You get the space back for the afternoon all hands meeting or for the 4PM team tea times.
