Fooditude’s story
Fooditude was founded in London in 2005 by Dean Kennett. His background as a chef and manager inspired him to set up a contract and event catering business that cut through the noise and focused intently on delivering the best customer experience.
Fooditude operates differently to traditional contract caterers – we don’t run kitchens on client sites, instead we deliver a full food experience from our central production kitchen.
We also dive straight into a client’s workplace culture to understand and set the style and scope of services they want – from bespoke food offers to consulting on new food spaces and experiences.
Our clients see value in this model as it saves them prime office space and allows them to offer fresh and tasty meals, an inspiring snack selection, refreshing beverages and spectacular events – all without the hassle of applying for kitchen licenses and the expense of fitting one out and running it. In the current climate, it also gives them the flexibility to cater to fluctuating headcounts.
15 years on, Dean still runs the show as managing director and has a solid team by his side – Sam Kennett, HR & Finance Director (also his wife) and Matt Byne – Director of Food.

Fooditude x Sodexo

On 1st December 2020, Fooditude joined the Sodexo UK & Ireland family as a trading brand. Fooditude’s delivered-in model complements Sodexo’s global strategy to invest in B2B foodservice delivery and provide flexible and agile solutions that meet the needs of its customers. We have ambitious plans for growth after 15 successful years as a premium workplace caterer to London’s most forward-thinking businesses and partnering with Sodexo will accelerate those plans starting with our first production kitchen in Clarehall, Dublin. Dean and Sam also have Irish heritage so the move to Ireland ticks boxes from a personal perspective too. Sam knows her dad would be proud to see our spotty vans zipping around his home town!
